I’ve worked in Sleep Medicine for over 23 years and was considered one of the top Sleep Psychologists in the greater-Minneapolis area. I moved back to San Diego in June 2011, and look forward to bringing my expertise to the region. I often use Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and talk therapy to address Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, nightmares, trauma, grief, loss, life stressors, and medical issues.
People that have worked with me in the past tell me that I’m easy to talk to and offer a non-judgmental and open atmosphere. Many of my past patients had already seen several medical practitioners without improvement. I understand that sense of helplessness, people's irritability from sleep deprivation, and their often coexisting anxiety and depression. Even in the face of people's significant frustration, they tell me that I am finally the correct health practitioner who can help them. After facilitating sound sleep, this dramatically improves a person’s quality of life, relationships, mood, concentration and performance.
